Transaction statuses
Lifecycle statuses you may receive while creating, authorizing, capturing, refunding, or monitoring orders.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| new | Order has been created and is waiting for the next processing step. |
| preflight | Hosted payment page order has been prepared before cardholder interaction. |
| prepared | Order is initialized and ready for authorization or further payment flow steps. |
| prepared_for_holder_metadata_collecting | Additional cardholder data must be collected before processing can continue. |
| processing | The transaction is currently being processed by the gateway or acquirer. |
| authorized | Funds were successfully authorized and placed on hold. |
| charged | Authorized funds were captured successfully. |
| credited | Funds were sent to the cardholder in a credit flow. |
| refunded | Captured funds were returned to the cardholder. |
| reversed | The authorization hold was released without capture. |
| declined | The issuer or gateway declined the transaction attempt. |
| rejected | The transaction was rejected by validation, risk, or business rules. |
| error | The transaction failed because of a technical or integration error. |
| chargeback | The payment was disputed and a chargeback was opened. |
| representment | The chargeback was challenged by the merchant. |
